GreenServe have recently purchased new Kubota F2890’s to help with the commercial grounds maintenance demands!!

The supplier was Rod Gaskin, our local Kubota dealership, they supply a wide range of groundcare and maintenance equipment to companies is Sussex and the whole Southeast region.

This out front rotary mover has a 28HP ultra reliable Kubota engine with a choice of 5 mower decks, 60 inch rear and side discharge, 72 inch side a rear discharge and a flail deck for the extremely tall grass and scrub. Along with various other attachments such as blowers and sweepers, this is an extremely versatile machine for all grounds maintenance needs.

We’ve gone for the 60 inch rear discharge deck as its more manoeuvrable and spreads the clippings of the grass more evenlly, with the mulching kits fitted the clippings are chopped even finer to the point where they’re virtually unnoticeable. We’re also looking at getting the 72inch rear discharge for the larger sites and a flail deck if required. But this mower with the 60 inch deck is still fully capable of cutting through grass that is 2-3 foot tall and at the same time leaving an unmatched finish on the fine turf areas.

Maintenance is also reduced in terms of cost compared to our larger Ransomes highway 2250 cylinder mowers and it will lighten the loads of the Ransomes and our Iseki SXG323’s. Maintenance is also made easier with the deck flip feature, the deck will pivot 90 degrees to the ground, giving great access to the underneath of the deck for cleaning and changing blades.

We’ve now been using these mowers for 4 weeks and all we have had is compliments from our staff and customers.
